Weebelo VisitationI am a Weebelo II Parent, Pack 742 (Ken Caryl Area), Den 11 and interested in arranging a visiting with your troop, possibly with several others (14 total in our Den). In preparation for crossing over in February we are visiting several of the area troops and would like to visit yours as well. Small Boat Sailing Merit BadgeGreetings Troop 554, My name is Dallas Becker and I work with Community Sailing of Colorado, a local non-profit organization. I am reaching out to you to find out if your Troop would be interested in offering the Small Boat Sailing merit badge or scheduling a sailing outing with Community Sailing of Colorado. We are working with local Troops to schedule outings to teach the Scouts sailing and offer the Small Boat Sailing merit badge to Scouts that are interested. Our goal is to work with the Troops to offer affordable lessons throughout the year or schedule weekend outings to teach the skills necessary to obtain the merit badge. We teach skills for the most beginning sailors and individuals who have experience on the water. Most of our lessons are conducted at Cherry Creek Reservoir. We also operate in other bodies of water in the Denver Metro and Boulder areas. If you would like more information about possibly scheduling an event, feel free to email or call. I am an Eag
